Children across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). The government recognise this and there will be a £650 million catch-up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year.

An evaluation of our strategies throughout 2019-20 showed that the evidence base detailed by the EEF held true for our pupils too. The PP children made accelerated progress and attained well in comparison to non-PP children within school and nationally. Our teacher assessment shows this however due to lockdown we do not have externally moderated data for the academic year 2019/2020.
Physical education (PE) and Sports Premium Statement 2020-21
Sport Premium is an amount of money which the government has agreed to allocate to schools to increase the quality and breadth of PE and Sport provision, and increase participation in PE and Sport. The funding amount received by schools is based upon the number of children of primary age at the school and a lump sum. This will be the fourth year that all primary schools will be allocated this funding.
